A standard domestic EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) typically takes 2–4 hours depending on the number of circuits and property size. We quote by property size before we turn up — no surprises on the day. The certificate itself is issued within 24 hours of the inspection.

Not always. If you have a modern consumer unit with RCDs on every circuit, you may be fine. Older wire-fuse or split-load boards often don't meet current regs and may be flagged unsatisfactory on an EICR. We assess what you've got, tell you what's genuinely needed, and quote in writing.
